When to use Tormund
Tormund’s War skill switches on only when you defend or garrison. In any other battle it does nothing, so a trio built for a different battle leaves Tormund idle. Read the pick-by-battle table to see who else boosts defending battles.

Bomber HP and Lethality +52.5% at Lv.10.
Season 1 equipment adds +5.25% troop HP and Lethality per level, up to +52.5% at Lv.10 (270,000 power). Maxing it takes 550 parts. In most heroes the rate is set by season, not by the hero: see the Season Rule. Known exceptions: Tyronn and Phoenix.

Tormund has six hero skills, levelled from 1 to 5. Arrest skills work in Tormund’s own fights. War skills boost your troops in the battles Tormund marches in. In a rally, a joiner brings only the first War skill of the first hero: for Tormund that is Solid Defense.
Smoke Invasion
Spews smoke, dealing DMG equal to 242% of ATK in a fan-shaped area and stunning them for 1.5s.
Destructive Flames
Reduces DEF of the targets hit by basic attacks by 15% for 3s.
Fire Barrier
Reduces DMG taken by 32%.
Solid Defense
Increases all allied troops' DEF by 25%.
Blazing Heat
Has a(n) 20% chance to stun the enemy for 1 round when attacking.
Fiery Ambition
Increases all allied troops' HP by 25%.
