Lands of Jail SVS Guide: Server vs Server Strategy, Phases & How to Win

How Server vs Server (Supreme Honor) works in Lands of Jail and how to win it: power reset before matchmaking, enemy intel, the preparation-day checklist, and fighting smart in the war phase.

vs

In one line: SVS (Server vs Server, also called Supreme Honor) is won before it starts: save for the point days, set up a fair matchmaking, scout the enemy server, then fight only when you’re ready and always with your alliance.

Where this comes from: the original LOJ XLab SVS guide, merged with MIRÖX’s S216 SVS Preparation & Coordination guide (LOJXLab Community Discord, November 2025), written for all S216 alliances before the server’s first SVS.

Sample (rough): S216, roughly 5–10 SVS weeks, MIRÖX’s estimate.

Not yet measured: how much a power reset changes the opponent you get. That’s covered in depth, with its own evidence, in the power-reset guide.

What would change this: a change to how SVS matchmaking counts power, or to the phase schedule. Send us your SVS results.

What SVS is

A multi-phase event where two servers compete. You earn points through building, research and training, then fight in a final war phase. Rewards are personal, alliance and server-wide. It’s one of the most important events in the game, and a team event, not a solo grind.

StageWhenWhat wins it
1 · Power resetBefore matchmaking locks (on S216: the Saturday after Crystal Clash)Lower inflated power so the server gets a fair opponent
2 · Matchmaking & intelWhen the match is revealed (Sunday on S216)Know the enemy server before you meet it
3 · Preparation / point daysThe SVS preparation daysSpend everything you saved: every action is points for your server
4 · War phaseThe kill phaseFight smart, together, and only when ready

1 · Power reset before matchmaking

Matchmaking is based on your server’s displayed power. Experienced servers lower it just before matchmaking to avoid an unfair opponent. It’s fully within the game’s mechanics, a strategic move, not cheating.

  • Remove Robot Cores
  • Unequip hero upgrades
  • Unequip Power Armor or tech enhancements
  • Hold off on troop healing and building upgrades until the match is set

Timing is everything: it only counts if done before registration locks. Step-by-step: How to reset hero & robot power before SvS matchmaking.

2 · Matchmaking and intelligence

Once the opponent is revealed, analyze them together:

  • How strong their top alliances are
  • Known tactics and war history
  • Key targets to defend or attack

Every alliance should share what it knows about the matched server. Intelligence is advantage.

3 · Preparation days: every action is points

Key rule: don’t play normally before SVS, play for SVS. Save speedups and resources, stack troop training, and delay upgrades so they complete during the point days, not before.

Do this on preparation daysWhy
Use Forticlad and Power ModulesDirect points
Speedups: training, tech, buildingPoints for every minute saved
Promote troops (up to level 11)Training points
Upgrade Epic and Legendary hero shardsHero points
Gather wood, gas, food, steelGathering points
Tech breakthroughs (Magnet, Modules…)Research points
Kill fugitives and beastsCombat points without PvP risk
Reinforcement spins and module chestsExtra points

Don’t spend big items early: wait for the preparation days.

4 · War phase

Players can teleport to the enemy server, attack players, rally bases and farm points through PvP. This is where most rewards are earned, and where unprepared players get zeroed.

  1. Fight only when ready. Troops and setup first.
  2. Teleport with your alliance, never randomly.
  3. Pick winnable targets for points with minimal losses.
  4. Shield whenever you’re offline or vulnerable.
  5. Follow the alliance plan. Coordination wins wars.

The simple version

  • Reset power before matchmaking locks, then rebuild
  • Save resources and speedups before SVS
  • Spend them on the preparation days
  • Fight in the war phase, together
  • Protect your base afterwards

Everything you do is points for the server. Let’s make every move count.
