Lands of Jail Trove Collection 101: Maximize Every Souvenir Coin

What Trove Collection is in Lands of Jail and the golden rule: upgrade only in Preparation, Hero Collection and alliance buff windows. By MIRÖX.

In one line: every Trove upgrade pays Souvenir Coins, and the coins buy permanent power. So never upgrade Trove on a normal day: stack upgrades inside event and buff windows.

Where this comes from: MIRÖX’s Trove Collection 101 for her alliance, LOJXLab Community Discord (Dec 2025, table updated Jan 2026).

Sample (rough): S216, MIRÖX’s experience with event timing.

Not yet measured: how many extra coins or points stacking produces.

What would change this: a change to which events count Trove upgrades. Send us your results.

What Trove Collection is

A long-term progression system: each Trove upgrade rewards Souvenir Coins (Common, Rare, Precious), which unlock large permanent power boosts. It’s one of the strongest scaling systems in the game.

In simple terms: more Trove upgrades → more Souvenir Coins → higher late-game power. That’s why it matters for SVS, events and rallies.

The golden rule: don’t waste coins

Trove upgrades must be planned, not reactive. Wait for:

  • Preparation events: maximum event points and rewards for the same upgrades.
  • Hero Collection events: some Trove upgrades also count for hero points, so you benefit twice.
  • Alliance buff windows: leadership buffs can cut costs or raise gains.

Stack your upgrades inside these windows and you get more coins, more event points, more rewards and more power for the same resources: maximizing every coin.
